The Kirkpatrick Model was created by Dr. Donald Kirkpatrick in 1954. He devised a 4 level functional model that would define the impact of training programs. The levels are straightforward and simply described as Reaction, Learning, Behaviour, and Results and have stood the test of time.

Terminal Objectives
MicroLesson Topic:
Introduction to Constructivist collage design
Target audience:
Foreign students with English as a second language, between the age of 18-35 years.
Little knowledge of western art culture or practise and are tech savvy.

Learning Gaps:
1. Cultural and historical knowledge gap
2. No knowlwdge of Western art practice
3. Some knowledge of digital art production
4. Some knowledge of digital art process

Course Overview:
The Micro-lesson is part of a semester long Multimedia course.
It aims to introduce students to foundation level digital media tools and practices, as well as the historical context of collage design.
This lesson concentrates on digital image capture, manipulation and design techniques in the style of the 20th Century Constructivist art movement.
​
Summative Assessment:
The acquired skills and knowledge are then demonstrated and applied to mock ups of design work, a final Constructivist poster produced and reflection Constructivist work and their work.
​
MicroLesson Goal:
This course introduces a significant component of skills, practices, historical context in digital image manipulation and design, used within the Multimedia industry.
Terminal Objectives
Students will be able to:
1. Reflect on historical context of collage design
2. Illustrate photographic compositional skills
3. Apply digital image manipulation skills
4. Experiment with design and representation techniques
